Stephen Baker
Stephen has extensive experience in hospital turnkey projects. His particular interest is managing and developing hospitals in greenfield operations, hospital re-engineering and turnaround strategies that balance growth, profitability and quality of patient care.
Over the last 22 years Stephen has served in Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer roles in the private hospital and medical industries, and as a specialist consultant in hospital development and project financing in Southern, East & West Africa, Britain, USA and the Middle East.
Stephen has guest lectured at prestigious global healthcare conferences, including Leaders for Healthcare (Abu Dhabi), Arab Health (Dubai), Hollister Conference (Chicago), Imperial College (London) and West Africa Hospital Expansion Summit (Accra, Ghana).
Stephen is the founder and MD of Compleo Health Consultancy Namibia, and a director of Halcyon Management Services and Halcom Management Services

Keith Bonsall
Keith focuses on productivity, performance and profit improvement in the private hospital sector. Over the past 30 years he has played a key role in hospital development, project management and commissioning, and has extensive experience in strategic planning and processes, both in senior management and as a consultant.
Keith has helped clients with hospital regulatory issues, DoH applications, business strategy, operational plans, financial management and budgeting, and has led hospital development projects from design to commissioning to on-going management training.
He has served on the board of the National Association of Private Hospitals (now Hospital Association of South Africa) and spent time in the United States studying hospital management processes and systems for Managed Healthcare environments.
He was also a key figure in the development and commissioning of the Ethekwini Hospital and Heart Centre, a 250 bed, high-tech private hospital in Durban, where he oversaw the implementation of best practice systems and processes for optimum efficiencies and effectiveness, including a fully integrated digital IT system.
Keith has presented papers at health care conferences locally and internationally, and has developed training programmes for the Foundation for Professional Development. He is an honorary member of the Forum for Professional Nurse Leaders and a founder director of the Case Manager Association of South Africa.
Keith Bonsall serves on the boards Halcyon Management Services (as MD), Compleo Health Consultancy and Halcom Management Services.

Shaun Ryan
Shaun has over 20 years experience in positions of general management in the hospitality industry with the Protea Group, and as CEO of private hospitals with Afrox Healthcare and Netcare, and ISOS in the DRC and Indonesia.
For 2 years he was the General Manager of the International SOS organisation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, responsible for healthcare infrastructure.

Sharon Reinecke
Sharon’s extensive experience in nursing services management led to a corporate career as Group Regional Nursing Director with Life Healthcare, Nursing Director McCord’s Hospital and Group Nursing director of Ross Healthcare. She played an integral role in hospital commissioning projects for Ross Healthcare, with responsibilities in the areas of Nursing Strategy & Management, clinical governance, risk management, medical equipment specification, nursing recruitment, and the development of standard operating procedures & policies.
George Schutte BCom LLB MBA
George has 25 years experience in hospital management and financing medical services. He has served as a Director at Mediclinic, George, a 126-bed hospital, with five theatres, and a 40 bed Neuro Clinic.
He was previously a Financial Consultant at MLS Bank, specialising in financing of medical services. George has also guest lectured in Business Economics, Contract and Commercial Law at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, and recently managed two medical facilities the Middle East.
